MITOS Reserva – 2012 Vintage

Reserva (MITOS) consists of Tempranillo selected from mid-aged vines is blended with some of the best Cabernet Sauvignon to make a light-medium bodied wine that is ideal for a longer ageing in French oak. After 3 years of ageing, this wine is full of spectacular aromas and extremely satisfying.

Varieties: Tempranillo (90%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%).
Region: PDO Utiel-Requena
Alcohol: 13% PH: 3.53 Acidity: 5.7 g/L Residual Sugars: < 2 g/L
Aroma: Ripe fruit, toasts, coffee, cocoa, cinnamon and vanilla.
Colour: Deep cherry red with garnet glints.
Taste: Soft and round, toasted, slightly bitter, sweet chocolate at the end with a perfect fresh acidity.
Ageing: 12 months in a oak barrels (with a higher proportion of French oak). Minimum of 24 months in the bottle for rounding up.
